Accredited Wykamol Users take pride in carrying out their works to a high standard and will therefore usually issue a Guarantee to give their clients additional peace-of-mind. This is considered important since it can take several years for certain treatments to be confirmed as being fully effective (dry rot, woodworm, damp proofing etc.) and they are expected to last for the lifetime of the building (20 - 50 years).

A large number of our members have been trading for longer than the lifetimes of such guarantees but it remains the case that even long-established companies may experience trading difficulties and may not, therefore, be able to honour their guarantees or carry out follow-up inspections when a query is raised.

To cover these situations AAWU members are able to offer their clients additional protection in the form of Guarantee Protection Certificates from Construction Guarantee Services Ltd.
