Members objectives

The AAWU promotes the follwing objectives for its members:

  • To provide the public with an ethical service for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of decay and dampness in buildings.
  • To avoid misleading advertising or unethical approaches to the public seeking business.
  • To work in accordance with national codes of practice for remedial treatment.
  • To pool knowledge freely and encourage the development of new processes.
  • To encourage professional development through seminars, meetings and other actviities.

Some member companies have been around as long as the Association itself (40 years) but all are able to offer an up-to-date service covering all aspects of dampness and decay in buildings (including condensation control, basement waterproofing, flood damage remediation, structual repairs).

The AAWU promotes the following objectives for its members:

Become a Member

The AAWU welcomes applications for membership from all specialist property repair companies working to the highest standards of surveying and workmanship in the remedial industry.

In order to be eligible for consideration you will first need to satisfy the detailed requirements for competence laid down by The Wykamol Group who will then make their recommendations to the Management Committee of the Association.
